What is a road tax? Is it similar to a car licence sticker?

Paid every year and displayed in the Windshield.
Supposed to pay for the upkeep of the roads...LOL
With out it your Insurance is void.
No Annual vehicle inspection test (MOT) and your Insurance is void.
Without both of the above ,the disk can not be purchased.

So yes, think it's the same. :)
