No BS, there are some really good Bar-b-que places in NYC. Now whether they are the best....Not a chance. I’ve eaten in a few of the places mentioned, and they are pretty good. But good and great are two different locations. They may be in proximity, but they are not the same.
The Dinosaur was real good until John Stage sold out the Soros Investments LLC.
Agreed on Dinosaur. And agreed on the rest of NYC. I’ve eaten at a bunch of them and what can I say but eh. I have not tried Blue Smoke however. 30 years ago Amsterdam Avenue in Harlem,absolute hole in the wall only open for takeout lunch in pretty shaky neighborhood was the greatest BBQ ribs I have ever eaten. 5 dollars got you a Fred Flintstone size portion after you waited on the long line for your turn. Amazing stuff bringing back great memories.
