Mrs. Dawgg informs me about around 300 bucks a month (using coupons) at the grocery store. About 100 bucks a month at Sam’s Club. Then we get half a beef which lasts us about a year and costs around 1100 bucks.

There are three adults in our household. We live in a small town with two grocery stores. Our grocery bill is about $100 a week and going up. I never thought bread would cost almost $3/loaf and milk $4/ gal.

I would never try to make my own. Some of the people who have turned blue were either making their own or taking scads too much. Mine is by Natural Path Silver Wings, is a dark amber, and is 500 ppm. It’s not the color necessarily that’s important. It’s the ppm. The smaller the ppm, the more diluted with water it is. You want a high ppm or it’s a waste of money. I take about 3/4 of a dropper a day. Haven’t turned blue yet in 5 years. Not even a tinge. LOL

Went and got four more milk goats yesterday. Milk is 4.99 plus tax. Feed and hay is cheaper for now and brush is free. Now to learn how to make cheese...

There is federally regulated minimum pricing... but federal intervention has established a cartel of sorts that collude to set prices while crushing small scale dairy operations that might somehow compete against cartel price fixing. Meanwhile farming subsidies are what are assisting in keeping the price of the raw product from moving to the actual cost of production. This was quite recently in the news as a scare tactic to pass the farm bill... $7/gallon milk.

That post is little more than proof that the FDA lies through it’s teeth!!

Silver Sulfadiazene is still the treatment of choice for preventing infections in burn victims.
Silver Nitrate drops was a long accepted treatment for preventing infections in the eyes of newborn babes (my BC even shows AgNO3 on it!)
Silver is now being used in pool and water filtration systems.
Silver is now being used in band-aids.
Silver is even being used in socks to keep them fresher!

Now.
How can silver be used for all these applications based on an anti-bacterial property yet HAVE NO EFFECT IF YOU TAKE IT INTERNALLY?

Answer:
It can’t!
The FDA is LYING when they say that silver has no effect! Generations of testing and usage have PROVED that silver has anti-microbial properties!

About $400 a month for 3 (2 adults and one 5-year-old).

I’m an Atkins adherent (I keep it at about 45 carbs maximum a day) and my wife is a South Beach adherent. We’ve been that way for about five years. Our daughter is loosely South Beach.

Naturally, we eat very few carbs and starches, so we can’t get away with buying cereal or Ramen noodles to save money.

Most of the money goes out for meat, dairy (LOTS of milk!), and greens. LOTS of coffee, too. Maybe $75 a month goes out for coffee, heavy whipping cream (it has 0 carbs and makes a great creamer for coffee), and Splenda. About $30 a month goes out for CarbSmart ice cream as our after-dinner dessert of choice.

Hope this helps.

Cheers

P.S. We use multivitamins, but not religiously. Maybe once or twice a week. More if we’re feeling run down or fighting a bug.

You’re absolutely correct, silver does kill bacteria. Well... Actually, it’s the ionization of silver that kills them.

However, don’t trust all that “silver nanoparticles kill bacteria in droves” nonsense. Once silver particles are reduced down to a few nanometers in size, the silver can’t ionize properly, so they don’t kill the bacteria.

Now, if you can figure out a way to get the silver nanoparticles to ionize properly, then you’ve got something! In fact, if you DO figure that out, I’ll do my best to get you some investors!

Cheers

I actually met someone who had taken colloidal silver for years. A definite purplish tinge to his skin.

No lecture intended. You posted your supplements, I posted an article.

I’m hearing a lot of ancedotal reports of doubling and tripling of grocery prices in the last two to three weeks. Any truth to this?
