In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of Word for the Day.
Opprobrium
Noun
Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the Word for the Day in a sentence.
The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day.
The Review threads are linked for your edification. ;-)
Practice makes perfect.....post on....

It is doubtful that Democrats have a moral foundation when men like Menendez are embraced. The left blindfolds themselves from seeing the opprobrium of the situation. An astute comment after the article: "Come on does Bob look like the kind of guy who NEEDS to pay young good looking women to have sex...Oh.. aah ..YEA !!!!"Scary that the Dems are less than curious about this story. Nothing can shame them.
Rise and shine......the glare from the new fallen snow woke me up this morning. Dang white stuff has covered my car and driveway. Where is SPRING?
Shutting down WH tours demonstrates the opprobrium of this administration and is the equivalent of taking the ball and going home when they don’t get their way.
Well, the local Dairy Queen has opened up. That’s a sign of spring.
Absolutely. A++ Probably, 0 and MO just want to run nakid through the White House so they can make another check on their bucket list. RME
....but I can't stop laughing. The man embraces his opprobrium.
McCain and Graham are trying to heap opprobrium onto Rand Paul for performing his legal right of filibuster.
Icy cold ice cream is a sign of spring? What happened to green grass and flowers?
I LOVE that!
That pair of matching twinkies are not conservatives. #IStandwithRand A++ The jokes on twitter were great.
As long as Ocarter remains in office, widespread opprobrium should be a daily occurrence.
it made me laugh, too few laughs to be found in 0bamaworld. we need all the laughs we can get.
it is. sadly. A++
In college, O did pot, ‘shrooms, and opium
Is he gay? He’ll never meet with opprobium
But a guy on the right
If his loafers are light
The mainstream is quickly all over ‘im
Well, they “close for the season” so the “season” must be over, eh?
No opprobrium seems to follow the scandals of the Obama administration — Benghazhi, Fast & Furious, etc. The press and the public seem immune from shock these days.
I got this in the email last night:
Are you infinitely thankful to God for having given us such a wonderful, wise and benevolent pope in Benedict XVI.?
Do you sincerely hope that the Church will be granted a worthy successor: a rock of faith, a leader open to the Holy Spirit, a pope prayerful and holy?
Do you as an important part of the Body of Christ wish to contribute through the power of your prayers so that the Holy Spirit may guide, protect and enlighten our Cardinals when they determine the next successor of St. Peter?
You now have the opportunity to actively be part of this providential endeavour by having a Cardinal assigned to you, who you will support through your prayer and intercession during the coming weeks before and during the conclave and for three days following the election.

I got Attilio Nicora of Italy, and he’s cute too! President of the Financial Information Authority
I thought this word would be a bigger challenge to rhyme. LOL Guess not. A+++

the world is full of sinners that applaud that crap. and vote for it. A++
