Excellent racing at the front, the studs were hooked up and the duds were way off.
Hard to believe they’re at Bristol already.

His other two guys are talented but emotional, Kenseth is Mr. Cool, and still a top flite chauffeur.

ALL the ppl I know who go to this race or watch it only do so to see ppl hurt. I personally have a friend who is in a wheelchair with limited motor skills from racing up in canada. He can’t walk or hold a pen. I wish they would do away with this stupid idiotic sport....it’s barbaric!

The guys at thw garage showed me a really bendable nickle-copper line. Tomorrow I’m going to the parts stores to ask about it. Not sure if my flare kits will work.
Ni-cop, you can get it in 25’ rolls or pre-made sections just like regular steel line.
It costs a little more, but you can tie and twist it into a pretzel shape without kinking it. Your double-flare setup is all you need.
I have heard you need to tighten the fittings a little more to get a seal.

the race really was uneventful....we pulled for Kyle Busch but glad he was at least in the top 10...don't know why he got penalized since we didn't have those radio ear phones thingamagig....
surprising how many people travel for Nascar...at least two different couples from Canada...one couple from North Carolina...people from my state of Washington and Oregone....people of different sizes, shapes, lots of kids, a few blacks and seemed like lots of hispanics too...lots of women love nascar...Las Vegas hotels were jammed with Nascar fans this weekend....
one downer was the "shuttle" system....we waited for close to two hrs and then another hr back to the strip, and there were thousands behind us...
shouldn't complain...the shuttle tickets cost up to $45 a piece, and we got them free along with our free race tickets....(it pays to build up comps while losing...lol)
