What we're about to say, we say with no bias or agenda whatsoever: The next episode of The Walking Dead just might be one of the best of the season. And by "best," we mean deftly written, subtly played and, in the end, emotionally complex. You know, best.

I have much better things to do with my time than watching Hollyweird productions of nonsense. Yet you had nothing better to do but come onto a thread about a show you want nothing to do with and tell us you have better things to do.

My husband has posited that this show is a reaction to a fear of societal break-down, in the same way that the “alien invasion” movies in the 50’s were a reaction to the fear of communism.
