“After 30 years of air traffic control, my stomach can’t handle pork any more, nor shellfish.”

Just curious, but what does air traffic control have to with pig & shrimp?

Air traffic control is a HIGH STRESS job.
Stress usually causes stomach acid, and over a period of time, weakens the stomach lining, and causes ulcers.
"Controllers candy" is either Tums for the stomach, or aspirin for headaches.
Anyway, some foods, mostly greasy or with certain elements aggravate the stomach lining more than others.
Pork and shellfish do this. And there are other foods that do this.
