I have NEVER been in a house with dogs that didn’t smell BAD. I have 4 cats and you would never know it. Because they bury their poop and i scoop it twice a day. WIth a dog, they just stink all the time....and the house always stinks.

Haven’t been to my house, or any of my friends house then! And no, I am not a dog freak, if things stink, I know it!

And a cat won’t dig in the litter box and EAT the poop...like most dogs will (including mine).

My Akita has zero odor unless he has gone for a swim in the river. Normally, he smells like a new fur coat. The river issue has nothing to do with a wet dog, either. It is the river, itself.

My cat, on the other hand, could blind you when she passes gas and occasionally we need a gas mask to change her clean litter after just one use.

I have noticed that multiple cat homes are often identifiable the moment the front door opens.

I will agree if the dog in question is a hound. I cannot abide their natural clean odor. But that is just hounds, not all dogs.
