I think there is a slowly, very slowly, growing consensus that this guy is now beyond reach. He could do anything and get away with it. He lies, cheats, and outright breaks the law and pays no price for it. I don’t know that we’ve ever faced this situation before as a country. There is now no check to his power. The media has so completely gone over to Obama’s side that the next GOP president should completely shut them out.

We’re seeing cracks and seems to me a growing though still reluctant willingness among libs to admit (however quietly and behind the scenes) that obama does need to be checked — checked to what extent (and indeed, even “IF”) remains to be seen.

The libidiots and dims are so corrupt that they will not accept this assessment from conservatives — though it has been SOOO obvious to all of us for so long, in so many different ways! — but perhaps they’ll see the need to reign him in, at least to SOME extent. I do not delude myself that this means they will return to the basic founding principles of this country, nor that they will cease our downward spiral, only that perhaps they realize that they are killing the goose that lays the golden entitlement-paying eggs.

We shall see.
