Heard from karim a bit ago that the stone is too big to laser, without potentially causing bleeding from aggravating the surrounding tissue, which would cause him to have to stay there a few days. The dr knew he would rather not do that so he put in a stent to alleviate the pain somewhat to get him home where he will have to go immediately to the ER to have it lasered to dissolve it here at home. They are going to extend the stay at the hotel another night and take the first flight out in the AM.
