And he might not want to make it exactly like the original.
Why not? Barry and Moochelle are SURE to be aboard on the maiden voyage...
I had never seen that picture of Monroe and JFK before.
Didn't get the right paste there.
Might not want to follow the exact course of the original.

Yep, this is the tragic fatal flaw in an otherwise laudatory enterprise. If it ends up like one of those Chinese bridges or skyscrapers, then they better have plenty of lifeboats this time around.
Having the obamas aboard knowing you are going to sink would be sh!++y enough.
That is what I was thinking. Since the Obamas like to appear everywhere including the Oscars, I’m hoping they appear on her first maiden voyage. Just maybe her rear end could be used as floatation device. =)

Hyundai Heavy Industries? Sure.
Newport News Shipbuilding and Drydock Co? Sure.
China?

Even the most ardent Communist China supporter knows that you wont need an iceberg to sink this Titanic
Stay out the icebergs. :-)
Building it in Chingchang?! Never get ME on it. Judging by the level of toxic stuff in everything else that comes out of chingchang, that ship will contain so much toxic material, a five-night cruise could be enough to ruin one’s lungs, liver and kidneys. No thanks. I’ll stick with Royal Caribbean.

He should build a fiberglass iceberg that can follow it around, or at least make a close pass-by on every voyage.
Don’t tempt fate.
It was indeed. The real upshot is that to take that 25,000 ton vessel and slam it against an iceberg of almost infinitly larger mass at a land speed of about 25 miles per hour is always pretty much a bad idea.
Always felt bad for Captain Smith. He was below in his cabin asleep when the first officer, Murdoch bounced the ship off of the berg.
