While the average Nazi Stormtrooper was basically a street-brawling thug, the Nazi hierarchy was very much into what today would be called ''New Age'' pursuits and beliefs, tapping into many forms of spiritualism and mysticism that were popular in Europe at the time. Hitler was a vegetarian and regularly consulted with astrologists as did Himmler, Goebbels and Rudolph Hess.

Yes indeed. Even the swastika was a mystical symbol from Tibet.

Himmler was especially attracted to what we call “New Age” spirituality, and the top echelon of his cronies practiced Teutonic Ceremonies, complete with runes, sun spirals , and sacred circles, much like today’s drum circles and spiritism.

Also the nazi quest for legendary holy articles, depicted in the Indiana Jones Movies, was a real thing.
