You have to separate the art and the artist. None of the films this year are propaganda. McCarthy said nothing about Hollywood at all. Why spread that myth?

John Wayne fought the commies in Hollywood. In 1944 he helped found the Motion Picture Alliance for the Preservation of American Ideals, a right-wing political organization, later becoming its President.
McCarthy took down Commies in DC who were friends and contacts of Hollywood. They then went after McCarthy. Btw, he was right on every count.
