Yes, Photobucket will work just fine.
You need to be posting more for a member of the Class of 2000, don’t be shy. ;)

Not shy. Post plenty of replys. Red_Devil had to practically draw me a picture so that I could figure out how to post the gardening thread.LOL.
~5000? You should be up over 30K! Rock on!
Yeh, our choice was easy too. It’s the only butter nut big enough for a crop. We also have 2 trees that yield black walnuts.
We have an acre lot, so it’s ok to just pick another spot for the tomato and peppers etc.
I hate when stuff just disappers. Didn’t use to be a big problem. Now, though when I put things away, I forget where I put them. Trying to find stuff is really bad now.
The house is too big, and several rooms are very disorganized. I can’t remember for sure what is in the organized areas either so I have been converting basement to storage areas that are open shelves. That way I can just walk by them and see what is there - no memory required. LOL.
Well that didn’t take long so pour a drink and pull your chair real close to the screen.. The poles are 1/2 inch conduit supporting large tomato cages for our 50 Dahlias. I drink a 2 or 3 bottles of water a week sitting in my Swank Garden office and I was just tossing those bottles willy nilly and when Lady Bender would come out she would rant and rave about them and stick one or two on those stakes until they all had one. Now fast forward several weeks and I notice the moles are digging in the lawn but not near the Dahlias and so I assume the bottle rattle enough in a slight breeze to disturb those rodents....
Good looking pics. What experiments do you have in mind? That last pic looks like you might be planning to watch you plants grow from the lawn chair.LOL
I pick quality over quantity. LOL.
Great thing, that serendipity thing.
I hope you did take credit with the spousal unit for keeping the moles out of the dahlias. I would have. ;)

SPOUSAL UNIT??????? Sounds like something from the sci fi channel.

Got our seeds that we ordered from Jung’s a few days ago. Our plants and sets will come late, naturally.
They also have a neat garden planning app at http://gardenplanner.jungseed.com/
It is free for the first 30 days; no automatic payment to have to remember to cancel if you don’t want to keep using it. It is well worth checking out & using for the trial period, even if you decide not to subscribe to it on an annual basis.
During the 30 days, you can make up to 5 garden plans, and can save them online; download to your computer; save & print them as either .pdf or .jpg files; & email or publish them on the Web.
Our plan for the 50 X 75 main (50 X 150 total, in 2 joined sections) garden’s “Section 1” printed out on 6 sheets, 2 high by 3 long, then taped together, so it is large enough to be useful, rather than squished down to a single sheet. Other options were available; we also saved it on my desktop as an editable .pdf.
It is amazing what it allows you to do: custom garden shapes, sizes, & orientations; same for beds, which also calculates how many plants at either row or equidistant spacings; frost dates, either default for your Zip-code or custom; you can specify not just species, but varieties, and even allows you to add varieties, complete with custom spacings, etc.
It is very easy to use, mainly drag & drop & ‘grab handles’. It also includes trees, perennials, & shrubs; flowers, and herbs, plus several generic “wildcards” in different sizes you can name & give specifications for. There are also tools for adding paths, compost bins, garden sheds, etc, if needed.
It also allows for interplanting/companion planting; succession planting; and keeps track of rotations year to year, if you subscribe to it.
It also has a has a special SQUARE FOOT GARDENING mode option.
Other features, as well; yet is VERY easy to use. This is by far the best garden planner app I have come across yet.
It may have something to do with the fact I've been married 3 times, and now waiting to find my 4th ex-wife. ;)

My house already suffers from neglect. If I get a garden app. I’ll never make it up from the computer.
Then the Hubby, kids, and Doctor will all whip me. I am mandated to reduce time sitting in front of the screen. Feet and legs swell, if I sit too long.
I have already pushed the limit today, but I was suffering from withdrawal. I’ll have to quit soon though.
You’re good JRF... I bought that mailbox at a yard sale up the street and the guy delivered it. The main garden shed is just to the left of it but it’s a 50 or 60 foot walk just to get the pruners or trowel. My garden data base is a blank spiral note book...
Hah, I told my daughters after their 2cnd divorce, that they’d probably be happier if they just got on with their lives and concentrated on raising their children.
If you can’t accept your significant other warts and all, that’s a big problem. Most people get married and immediately start trying to change their spouse. This is not only annoying - it is not intelligent.
The only person’s behavior you can really control is your own. So instead of trying to force your spouse into what ever pretzel you want, just decide what you will do to live happily with it.
If you can’t live with it, fish or cut bait. You also better figure out how you missed the trait to begin with so the next one doesn’t have it.Works for most stuff anyway.
Everything here is fairly close, so that may not wind up in my garden, but if I ever get more property, I will keep that in mind. I HAVE to write stuff down, or put it in the computer ASAP, or I'll forget. I've got a calendar in front of me where I write down the ground temps every day. If I didn't see the calendar every morning when I sit down at my desk, I'd forget to check the temps.

Hi all
Greetings from middle Tennessee. Weather has been temperamental lately. Into the upper 50’s today, up from 30’s just the other day. Up, down, up, down. Started some broccoli, cauliflower and kale indoors last weekend. Hope for the best. Daffodils around town are beginning to bloom. Soon it will be time to prune the roses; 8 knockouts and 12 climbing roses, two tea roses .... Scratched up arms here we come.
So glad FR is up again. Was having serious withdrawals. Had extra time to peruse Facebook. Was reminded of why I enjoy FR so much. Bunch of narcissistic airheads there. Yawn. Happy gardening all!
Serious withdrawal here too and lots of ups and downs with the weather. I am behind on my cleaning and organization projects.
I can’t start any seeds till I get some space cleared away in front of some of the windows-which need a path cleared to get to them.LOL.
Bad habit of doing a fast pick up with a box, stuff the box in the utility room to go through later. Later gets later and later. Pretty soon you have a serious time consuming organizational task to do.LOL.
