I find it odd that they left out the moment that guaranteed that I would never watch the awards again. It was back when tom Hanks got an awards for Philadelphia and went on a long tirade about how AIDS was the fault of the Reagan administration and that we didn’t do enough AIDS research, and rambled on a bunch of absolute BS.

Hell, I have trouble even watching a Hanks movie anymore. Last one I saw was probably Saving Private Ryan, and that was underwhelming.

Can't agree with ya there.SPR is a genuine classic for several reasons...one of which is that it's at least loosely based on real events.It was great in spite of Hanks,not because of him.Sgt Horvath,Doc and Jackson made that film.Mellish and Caparzo were also outstanding.
