My guess is people with "Co-Exist" bumper stickers tend to smile less, too.

And live in cities where people treat each other like crap and are left leaning in their politics.

Lots of irony in the Left.

Liberals/Progs are elitists. Smug and arrogant and think the rest of the world should be in lockstep. Anyone disagreeing (or not living and thinking as they are) should be killed.

Same ol’, same ol’.

“Researchers” getting money from my tax dollars to “research” idiotic ideas makes me feel a lot less altruistic.

Some time ago an MIT student wrote a piece in a student publication about a visit she paid to a Whole Foods market. In it she commented on the 10,000 types of cheese and 5,000 different wines they offered (and their price) as well as the cars you’d find in the parking lot....along with other things. The basic conclusion she reached in the article...one with which I totally agree...is that shopping there isn’t a search for health but, rather,a public (blatant,I’d say) display of affluence.

A lot of them are liberal and are perpetually angry.

Never thought of this before but this nation is going to war with itself so where will those holier-than-thou pious nitwits going to shop if they refuse to eat anything they stupidly declare “not organic”? They don’t even know what the word ‘organic’ means.

Organic products make people feel more secure about their own morality, which weakens the desire to act altruistically, the US findings suggest.

This is hilarious!!! Organic produce has been proven to offer NOTHING beneficial over their pesticide treated counterparts!!! All organic products provide is a means for morons to pay MORE for the same produce the rest of us buy for less money!!

Dr Eskine and colleagues, who titled their paper 'Wholesome Foods and Wholesome Morals?', concluded that organic foods and morality "share the same conceptual space" in our minds.

Totally unsurprising. And perfectly natural that liberals, who are finger wagging moralizers par excellence, would be the biggest organic food buffs.

Just writing off the title...I KNOW this to be the truth.

About 6-7 years ago, my family and I were interested in eating healthier and looked into organic food. We lived in Tacoma at the time, and there wasn’t much in the way of organic stuff there (it’s changed slightly, but not much). So, my wife and 4 kids took a day trip up to Seattle.

There is an organic chain up there, PCC (Pacific Coast Co-op), that specializes in organic and natural foods. We went to the one in the Green Lake neighborhood...in other words, ground zero for liberal hell in Seattle. We went in to the store and walked around, looking at what they had. Understand- we were dressed nicely, and all four of our kids were well-behaved all during the time we were there.

The LOOKS that we got....they’d have burned through plate steel. Apparently, the fact that we had kids at all was anathema. The shoppers in the market looked at us like we had come in shouting obscenities and thrown feces on the walls. It was as if I could hear them thinking “You waster of resources! How dare you increase your carbon footprint with those brats!”.....or words to that effect.

I am happy to say that I have never been back, and I never will be.

My Brother shops at organic stores and tries to eat only organic free range meat. He is one of the nicest people you will ever meet and he will go way out of his way to help others, including his drunken derelict relatives and friends,

You're right as rain. I've found through my own personal experience that the people with ‘’Co-Exist’’ bumper stickers, the “Vegans’’, the “Organic’’ shoppers and the folks with the expensive bicycles and the equally expensive bicycling clothes are some of the rudest, most obnoxious and self-centered twits you'll ever encounter. In a past life they were either SS doctors or Soviet commissars.

The angriest, rudest part of the Bay Area is Berkeley.

The rudest two parts of Berkeley are People’s Park, and Whole Foods.

You would not BELIEVE the people spoiling for a fight, there.

What irks me the most are the pretentious shoppers at Whole Food with their reusable bags. I never have one and enjoy the *sneer* from the clerk who asks me gruffly...*Do you want a bag*? I always reply...*Of course.* ...Now they even ask if you *want* your receipt....*Of course I do*.

If I reused my favorite bag...you'd be hearing about me on the evening news. And I admit, I am the sole reason for deforestation in Amerika.
