My understanding of the THON process is that PSU kids stand on corners and solicit money from the rest of us... then they go to dance.

I suppose the fundamental question we should be asking is, would this $12.4M be available to the families of children with pediatric cancer if not for the collective effort of these students? I know what I think, and instead of getting into an argument I guess each person will make their own judgment.

Hey, I think raising money to help families is great. Not sure what dancing has to do with it, since the money is raised before the dance - at least around my parts.

Still, my original comment was the pediatric cancer is not cured. If it were, we wouldn’t still be raising money to cure it.
