No. Hyperspace is a Lucas-verse end-run around physics. It supposes FTL, making the second half of that screed unnecessary.

At one point, General Solo is married to Leia Organa-Solo, who follows Mon Mothma as Chief of State of the New Republic, and has a passel of kids.

Would love to see that in any new movies.
