You get it but other conservatives don't. Fundamentally, government K-12 schooling is evil for the children and threatens our nation's continuing freedom. I am going to shout so that other conservatives can see this:
IF CHILDREN ARE SENT INTO GOVERNMENT OWNED INDOCTRINATION CAMPS THAT ARE A SINGLE PAYER SOCIALIST-ENTITLEMENT, PRISON-LIKE, GODLESS, COMPULSORY AND A PRICE-FIXED MONOPOLY CARTEL THAT FUNDAMENTALLY TRASHES ALL FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHTS, WE SHOULD NOT BE SURPRISED IF WE HAVE VOTERS THAT ARE COMFORTABLE WITH:
**GODLESSNESS
**SOCIALIST-ENTITLEMENT
** BEING TREATED LIKE GOVERNMENT PRISONERS
**GOVERNMENT COMPULSION
** DON'T RECOGNIZE THE IMPORTANCE OF FUNDAMENTAL HUMAN RIGHTS
** AND COMFORTABLE WITH FASCIST CONTROL OF THE ECONOMY!
You get it. I don't understand why other conservatives don't.
I consider government K-12 schooling to be so harmful to the children and such a threat to freedom that personally it is beyond me why anyone would **willingly** seek a job with such an institution. I have made a decision. I no longer will have a government school teacher or worker for a friend. Good people won't don't that to kids or our nation. ( I don't have abortion workers for friends, either,)
They understand it, but taking action would be too inconvenient...

Because, they believe in the whole Left vs Right lie. They believe that they have champions in Washington that wear the elephant as their mascot and they leave the fighting to their champions.
The other reason is that they are content with the status quo. Perhaps they are wealthy enough to absorb the taxes and rising costs without impacting their way of life. Or they are just too lazy to notice that our futures are being sold down the river.
They believe the lie that a working class union member in a factory is their enemy, but the CEO of a corporation that lobbies the government to pass regulations that put their smaller competitors out of business is their friend.
They can convince themselves that public schools are not child abuse because they succeeded in getting their kid into a magnet school or that IB program that they can brag about at parties. They can do this and still afford the new SUV or luxury sedan with a clean conscience.
