As if this was the first inappropriate halftime show, “Wardrobe Malfunction”, anyone?
No, it clearly wasn’t the first.
However, this was totally planned from beginning to last to be this way. It was a 100%-er contrivance, knowing that families including many children would be watching.
It’s a difficult lesson to learn, but the NFL Superbowl halftime show needs a disclaimer for adults to protect their children from it. That is, unless it’s Paul McCartney doing classic rock-pop hits or something. And when THAT show fare is used, it lulls people into hoping, believing, praying the show WILL be watchable for families.
If you don’t know that people are experiencing culture shock, and that the decent still WANT to believe something like her act WOULDN’T be in their living rooms during SB halftime, I can’t help you understand their mindset.
I do “get it” (Janet Jackson notwithstanding).
