Methinks there is applicable (strained, twisted, and stretched far beyond any sane intent) precedent for a married man to be deemed a priest IF a vow of celibacy is taken. There was a FR thread to that effect of late. They’ve had their kids, his true orientation is suspect, and so she may be quite content to consent as appropriate. First Lady was quite a prize position ... but co-Pope?!? Ultimate win for her.
