Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray; and do Thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host - by the Divine Power of God - cast into hell, satan and all the evil spirits, who roam throughout the world seeking the ruin of souls. oh, I know the prayer, even have a statue of St. Michael by my bed. I was having nightmares and Fr. C recommended saying the prayer at bedtime, I did and bought the statue around that time, too...never had another nightmare. When things throw me now and I sense evil...I quote “get behind me, Satan”...and let it go. Works for me.
