I just purchased the Firth/Ehle BBC version on DVD for almost nothing after realizing that its my favorite. I’m struggling through the audio version of Manfield Park right now, not my favorite of her novels but I made it through the miniseries and decided I had to make it through the book. I do love the rest of her books. Character studies with very good dialogue. Misdirection is her forte. Aha, that’s what I’m missing in Manfield Park. Its so obvious that Fanny ends up with Edmund. There’s no suspense.

Is there a mini series of Mansfield Park? I have the Pride and Prejudice mini series and am listening to the audio books of her works now too.
