Congrats on the new club. Looks like a keeper.
Looks like a Thompson/Center Contender.
Ugly as hell but, Kewel looking at that same time.
Want...
Jealous....
Looks like assault barrels to me.
Usually not a huge fan of such things, but that looks to be a great wood’s bumming gun to have in your pack.
Looks like you might need a bipod for that thing.
Rossi? Are they making them any better? Last time I looked at one, you could see machine marks all over the barrel. (.357)
I have always liked single shot guns, tho not for protection etc.
It was always enjoyable to just walk around and plink with a simple, easy to load rifle or pistol.
When I was a teenager around 1961 I bought a really cheap Mendoza single shot pistol. It had a simple plastic frame with a rolling block action made of stamped sheet metal. It had about a six inch barrel with an adjustable rear sight. There were two sheet metal clips on each side of the frame which gave it the appearance of a six shooter but in fact just held spare ammo.
It was probably about as simple and cheap as it was possible to make a perfectly good working pistol. It was about as accurate as any .22 pistol and more accurate than a lot. I think it sold for $12 new in the box.
I love Cabela’s Hamburg. Not sure if you know this, but that Cabela’s store is the largest of the entire Cabela’s chain, both by cubic feet and by sales.
The Hamburg Cabela’s is also the largest gun store in the entire world by sales.
Love it!
That bottom barrel looks bent.
