Good idea to be agrarian based in hard times, but not wise to have no stores. Crop failures happen, and you have to work all spring before you get to pick those beans.
How hard do you have to work to fill a 55 gallon barrel with dried beans by hand, and how easy is it to do right now?
Half a solution.

You can always have extra in storage, and of course it is wise to do so. However, without a way to resupply, you will eventually run out. I wanted both options.
