Although I am a child of the late 1970s-early 1980s the Troggs had some really good tunes that got better with time. You can hear their influence in later bands

“Wild Thang” was composed, in case you didn’t know, by the brother of the previous owner of the Chrysler Lebaron convertible I happen to drive. (He also composed “Angel of the Mourning”, and a lot of other less known things, as well as discovered Carrie Rodriguez, whom you must check out!)
