Sadly, you don't get much of that even when watching college games. You get a bunch of talking heads over-analyzing the game and a wrap-up of nationwide scores. There's actually a good reason for that: royalties. Marching bands don't often play original music, but rather arrangements of existing songs. The royalty structure is much different for "live performance in a stadium" vs. "broadcast on national TV" -- the networks check with the bands in advance as to their playlist so they can pre-clear the songs and pick the right time(s) to cut back to the stadium.
