And other than a sarastic reply, you didn't answer anything. I just asked if these are the same well trained & disciplined NOPD that engaged in looting during Katrina, and engaged in illegal gun confiscation during that same time. I am just wondering is all.

Personally I think all large city police depts in the U.S. are a bunch of corrupt union thugs & goons, including NOPD. They're certainly not there to reduce crime in the big cities or to protect the citizens, especially the defenseless ones.
