Rise and Shine! Tis the Weekend. Woke up to a layer of snow and a school delay. How is your world, my libland frozen tundra gun grabbing state is COLD.
27 degs, 16 with wind chill, we got a dusting, no delays today. Heading to wegmans. I have a happy hour with st James moms this afternoon I have to make something for, and a Super Bowl party on Sunday to bring something to. Tonight the caps (who suck, on stilts, and my condolences to Mik, bc jus is the only team we beat thus far) play the flyers (who suck only a smidge less). Xsteen and her boyfriend the flyers fan are going.
Brr. I have a superbowl party, too. On duty for 24 hours tonight to Sat night. Not positive what I will take to the party. I have been perfecting that Cheese/Onion dip. I made it and didn’t like how it turned out...cut the mayo in half and the onion powder and I like it lots better. I am thinking I will take that.
LOL Good find. A++
Or, maybe I will take bread dip. Wegman’s sells it, but I like mine better.
I’m hosting the kith in my neighborhood next week at a friends house in support of my Alderman’s run for Mayor. I didn’t know I had so many kith until I purused the voter list!
A++ YOU are hosting at your friend’s house....good deal.
Good deal and VERY good friend. Her house is larger and just built for larger parties. They are new to the house, so this will be the inauguration for a large affair. Lots of details to worry about.
Sounds like a win, win.
51 and sunny now, heading to 68 today in Texas. Maybe we’ll get this unit running today and I can go home, but I doubt it.
Good luck. Who wants to be working on SuperBowl Sunday? Get ‘er done and get home.
LOL...his claim to fame. I haven’t picked a team to cheer for...it’s a win win for him.
I’ll be around...I need a nap. On duty for my 24 hour shift tonight. BBL
I guess being the parents gives a whole new perspective but I hope they also cheer the winner too - their sons are big boys in the game of their lives and the winner deserves cheering.
The party will be here Sunday - I've already got baby back ribs planned but not sure yet what else...considering making up my own version of buffalo chicken salad.
