I don't respect automatic tips. I tip well for good service and not as well for bad service. Tipping should be based on merit. If a restaurant tacked on an unreasonable “tip” for bad service, I would object.

The waitress was being a snarky bully and that is failure face behavior in life. She was trying to harm the customer as she left her name visible for all the crazy internet service worker harassers she whipped into an anti-Christian a hate frenzy.

There is a fad right now among resentful waitresses to harm their customers they take their hate out on. This waitress would probably spit in the food of customers she hates serving if she would do this to a customer.

If I had a restaurant, I would be watching out for the sneaky bully server culture to make sure it did not invade my place of business. Who needs this attitude in their sociopathic behavior in their business?
