One time, I stopped at a Starbucks for some coffee. I bypassed the counter and headed to the restroom to take care of business first. Now the restrooms at Starbucks are single occupancy with a lock, so it is not unheard of for a person of one gender to use the restroom belonging to the other gender.

Anyway, I was approaching the door when it suddenly opened and a woman stepped out. As I reached for the door, I said to her in passing, "Did you put the seat back up?"

Unless he’s in Florida in which case it is a good precautionary measure to leave the seat up so the recently introduced exotic species of butt-biting giant water spiders have nowhere to hide.
