What idiots! Ticket prices are going to go through the roof or flights will be cancelled creating even bigger headaches in other areas because equipment is not going to be there for those flights.

Sounds nice, but all of us will pay this by higher fares.

I have a hard time feeling sorry for the airlines. You leave passengers on a plane on the runway with no air conditioning, no food, no water, overflowing toilets and absolutely no idea when or even if you will be able to fly you are just begging for regulation. Pull the plane back to the terminal and let the people out if it's going to take an hour or more on the runway.

More lawyers trying to justify and guarantee their livelihood by creating havoc within society. When a lawyer loses a case did anyone ever consider suing the lawyer for malpractice because if he'd done a good job he should have won the case? Apply the same standards to lawyers as lawyers do the medical profession and see what happens.

The article says it will “cost airlines millions”
It’s going to cost consumers millions is what they should have said.

I already skip London when using frequent flier tickets. Taxes on a JFK-LHR RT is a ridiculous $645 on a FREE ticket. JFK-CDG (Paris) is under $100. Guess where we’re going?

Say “hello” to stratospheric ticket prices, consumers!
What a stupid ruling.
