Yeah, Mr. B. Breathed was good at the satire.
Oddly enough, lefties seemed to hate him even though he was one of them.
Weird.
I honestly think it’s because he humanized Reagan through his ‘attacks’ so to speak. I was a young impressionable Reagan lover at the time and I never thought he slammed him. His satire was good, it made you think, even if you didn’t agree with his premise.
His hits on RR were no harsher than his hits on libs. But Reagan went with it and the libs spazzed.
