If you're just positioning a photo and adding text, I suggest MS Word ... or the freebie equivalent - Open Office If you want more photo editing capability, try PhotoScape - free. If you want a real challenge - Photoshop CS2 is now available for free. (Look down the page for D/L file and serial number.)

Adobe has put out a statement that the download and serial number are for current Photoshop CS2 licensees. (They're retiring the activation servers for that product and a number of other products.)
