I used to love that show, but quit watching a couple of years ago. I felt they were making fun of the Tea Party in an implied manner.

I simply don’t watch TV anymore. Everything is a political message it seems, which is sinking lower and lower into political correctness. Political correctness has a dark side, you know. Our entertainment-based culture is like a deer staring into the headlights of an oncoming car. If you don’t hold your beliefs close, another one will take its place unbidden. The mainstream media is promulgating its own set of beliefs, which looks warm an fuzzy on the outside but somewhat cold and prickly beneath. The hatred for Jews is on the rise, for example. Just like in Nazi Germany.

NCIS has always been politically correct i.e. liberally slanted with an anti-male bias to boot. All male underlings were depicted as barely rising above frat boys while all females were dignified, heroic, and totally adult. I remember one episode where some female pulled a male out from under her desk by his ears. It used to be one of wife’s favorite programs, but thank goodness, she eventually got tired of the show.

From the dialogue that Ziva gives about her life in Israel, you would think that the place is one big military camp, run along the lines of ancient Sparta. Worf from Star Trek: The Next Generation had more general knowledge of English and Federation culture than Ziva does.
