I think that score is the longest on record being 26 hours long

That’s even longer than the Ring Cycle!
And no “Fat Lady” singing at the end either! :-)
And you are correct about the length. It took many LP’s to present it in its entirety.
Thinking about this has brought back so many wonderful memories of my Dad.

You win. I actually saw Black Flag, way back in the day; Hung out with Henry for a while before the show.

I’ve read that some of the studio musicians who did the original Hawaii Five-0 theme were brought in to do the theme for the new series.

There’s an old ‘50s pickup truck in the parking lot here, and every time I see it I think of Quincy Jones.

My parents let me watch SOAP as a kid and I loved it then and now.
I would take the stars and supporting cast of SOAP over 95% of what passes as on air talent today.

Steele is another big favorite of mine. I have all the DVDs and the big Steele Remembered After All These Years book autographed and somehow some minor autographed theatre stuff from SZ came with it. Very nice touch that made something great that much better.

Definitely one of the best.
I would love a CD of the RF incidentals. A few other good or lesser series have them out.

Emergency!, written by Nelson Riddle. Billy May later took over the duties.
One of my favourite shows when I was a kid. Glad to see it now on Hulu.

I completely missed your original post. Cosmos! I still have the book. How many 15 year old kids do you see wearing turtlenecks and blazers? That was me.
Vangelis. Here is my favourite from that series: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eYRtwjFnjgM
