Egyptian sculpture followed a standard of proportions over several thousand years. It is different than the subsequent Greek sculpture standard of proportions. Both are different from our modern 'realism'.

That 'bama matches the Egyptian standard of proportions is, of course, a koinkydink.

Artistic depictions during Akenaten’s reign changed from the established Egyptian traditions, just as Akenaten pushed to change the religion. Akenaten was also about fundamentally transforming his society.
