Hell no. I am not bending to tyranny. I just want to show those with no spine or principle that I have lost faith in my fellow Americans - “THEM”.

I AM THE PROUD EAGLE but I want every Leftist to see that I am ashamed of “Their” action (NOT mine).

I find it hard to understand how some 200 odd weak pudgy half witted politicians with no actual experience at life other than attending cocktail cloisters, could beat down and force into submission about 150 million strong , proud americans, steeped in heritage and capable of building america into the greatest power on earth , only to sit by and allow the 200 feeble minded weekling dorks to run into the ground

The vigilant and proud eagle posted by Liberty Valance reflects your spirit, jongaltsr, and communicates strength to all, especially to youth, who must be taught that liberty requires vigilance and dedication to duty, and that there are those who, like you, stand proud, despite negligence of duty by many of your fellow citzens.

As to the ignorant and "spineless," their limited world view likely would not interpret the symbolism of a "drooping head" and "Once Proud American" as any sort of commentary on "them." Right now, they fit the mold of those described by James Madison in these words:

"Although all men are born free, slavery has been the general lot of the human race. Ignorant--they have been cheated; asleep--they have been surprised; divided--the yoke has been forced upon them. But what is the lesson?...the people ought to be enlightened, to be awakened, to be united, that after establishing a government they should watch over it....It is universally admitted that a well-instructed people alone can be permanently free." - James Madison

They need to be "enlightened" and "awakened" to their duty to the Creator and to America. We must remember, the "liberals," aka "progressives," have spent decades censoring the ideas of liberty from the textbooks and public discourse. As a result, a large portion of the citizenry lacks understanding of the principles underlying their Constitution.
