I know a Pakistani who ate pepperoni for six or seven years after coming to this country. Then one day somebody broke the news to him that it contained PORK!

I know a Pakistani who loves ham. Seriously.
Everytime he eats it, he says, “Astaghfirullah”, or God forgive me.
He even has an impeccable theological justification for it. Pork is pretty much the national dish in the Czech Republic, so there’s really no way to avoid it, and it does say in the Koran that if there’s nothing else available, you can eat pork.
So he’s got his bases covered. And his theological basis for drinking beer is equally......creative. :)
