Yeah the whole "let's invent a new monster for the Romulans for a movie that was a rip off of wrath of khan and not a good rip off but a sucky one..."

If they wanted a someone on Romulus who would be justifibly pissed off at Picard enough for vengence...

They already HAD someone!!!

And Picard had already actively Pissed in her cheerios SEVERAL damn times already!!!

They didn't even rip off the right part of Khan and that was basing the nemesis off of someone who HAD been in a freekin episode for crying out loud!!!!

A movie with Sela trying to get revenge on Picard would have been EPIC!!!

Instead they gave up a stuipid Picard clone who had no good reason for revenge and a bunch of rent a cop Bella Legosi's invented for no other reason than to look menacing and mind rape troi...

You are so right Grace.

They can't use the argument that the Audience would be lost because that is what they did with Wrath of Khan!

He was left over from Space Seed.

To make matters worse according to wikipedia Screenwriters John Logan and Roberto Orci, writers for the 2002 film Star Trek Nemesis and the 2009 reboot Star Trek, respectively, cite "Yesterday's Enterprise" as one of their favorite episodes and influences.

Which of course sets up for Sela's revel in Redemption.

I can only hope and pray that Denise Crosby doesn't demand a higher salary for a movie than Ricardo Montalban.

Is there anything more redeeming to a film than Mind Raping someone?

At least we got Tom Hardy as Proto-Bane.
