Well, you and the GOP can keep on losing elections then, we will see if you stop the leftist takeover then. THAT type of thinking is the problem, not my ethos of “live and let live” or “leave me alone”.

If we win elections, the liberals cannot take over and use the Fedgov to force these things onto us. But, what you seem to propose is to double down on a losing strategy. And then you have the nerve to say I am the problem. WOW... and you say you aren’t a liberal.

What I propose is to get Dem liberals, and holier than thou Republicans out of my life. Sorry if that offends you. What I propose does not take a perfect world to work, all it takes is adhering to Constitutional principles.

The Constitution does not guarantee the right to an abortion, nor does it give the Fedgov the right to regulate abortion. The same goes for marriage. If it is not mentioned in the Constitution, then its powers are delegated to the states. It is that simple, no parsing of words or twisted logic will change those Constitutional principles. So when I hear a so called conservative wants the feds to regulate these behaviors, I immediately become suspicious. If they were real conservatives, they would know that the feds have no business legislating such issues, or any other issue of morality. So, where do you stand, with the constitution or with your losing strategy?

President Romney, Former President Dole and House MAJority leader McConnell all support your WINNING! Strategy.

It works soooooo well I can’t imagine why we don’t just go with it...

But you and your fellow ‘conservatives’ just keep riding that solid strategy of voting for liberals, backing them, and trying to get any thinking person to believe it’s a conservative position. Because obviously anyone backing liberals and their ‘compromise’ MUS be conservative.
