The really silly think is that climate/weather has been known to be impossible to predict since 1963- when Edward Lorenz wrote his paper “Deterministic Aperiodic Flow” that explained that nonlinearities cause chaos, and thus make long term prediction impossible.

You can plot historical trends. They have NO ability to predict. As an alternative to statist global warming policy, we should promote greater freedom, leading to greater wealth, so that when weather changes, or climate changes, we have the greatest ability to adapt to change.

Stored food, a variety of clothes, and transportation options make sense for a ‘reaction to reality’ policy.

Exactly. It is a very very complicated system.

The Butterfly Effect.

Measurement errors and modeling errors get amplified over time to the point that predictions are impossible.

Even if the measurements are near perfect and the models nearly exact, there are still errors.

This is the biggest lie of all. The "know all" gods in scientific academia are being dishonest.
