I suggest you look to the political spectrum that the founders employed which is the premise of our Republic and exclusively deals with government control over the individual.
ALL Totalitarian rule no matter the flavor is extreme left while Anarchy is extreme right -Our Republic was established right of center as far right as possible while maintaining civil order and promoting the common good with a limited government.
