I quickly spotted all of the animals except for this one.

I still can't find the snipe.

That one was hard. At first I thought he was playing a joke on us (a “snipe hunt”).

But it is there. Lower left quadrant, at the base of the grass and the top of the snow - about a foot above the water. Head black with a white stripe.

Hunting grouse in Minnesota as a kid, once in a while a snipe migration would be coming through. They are REALLY hard to hit, and not much meat (about the size of a robin).

I've been spotting "impossible to see" animals since I'm a young child. My dad used to marvel how I could spot a bunny in the woods on the side of the road while we were speeding down the highway. Here's your snipe:
