Just passing by the computer. I spent a brief amount of time at the Amazon Prime site. Do I understand that purchases OVER $25 are the only ones that qualify for free shipping? And what about Amazon carried goods vs goods carred by Amazon partners?
Prime has free shipping on anything. I looked it over today, too....I am not impressed. Why are men so impressed by it? I compared a couple of things that I normally buy, and the higher cost has put me off. I think the higher cost makes it about equal to mailing it, but I won’t be mailing anything.
We bought an inversion table last year, a purchase like that this year would make it worthwhile. Otherwise, not.
However, for $79/year, the free book each month pays for the cost of joining. There are occasional purchases I make on Amazon, but most are from the off site sellers. Not sure about shipping on those, seems unlikely.
Overall, after looking it over closely, I am not interested in the prime, except for the books. That would be tempting.
