Anyway, like I was sayin’, moose is the fruit of the sea. You can barbecue it, boil it, broil it, bake it, saute it. Dey’s uh, moose-kabobs, moose creole, moose gumbo. Pan fried, deep fried, stir-fried. There’s pineapple moose, lemon moose, coconut moose, pepper moose, moose soup, moose stew, moose salad, moose and potatoes, moose burger, moose sandwich. That- that’s about it.

I was reading a historical book on the US in the 1700’s and 1800’s.
There were large herds not only of Buffalo but almost as many Elk.
They were hunted to extinction in the Prairie States and people growing up in the last century haven’t seen a single Buffalo or Elk except in Zoos.
Even Zane Grey wrote in his books that most of the early westerners would much rather have an Elk steak than beef.
