When I left active duty and went back to school back in the early 70s a stocker job like that would have been great. That was a tough time for jobs because of the VN drawdown.
With the economy the way it is now, any way to get a foot into the employment door is gold.

That is right....stock shelfs a few hours a night, spend morning looking for job.
It has worked for years.
My SIL been ‘looking’ and I heard of an opportunity to be a newspaper distributor - using their vehicle - 4-8AM...

Only thing wrong with getting off at 8AM is it is getting late to go looking for a serious job.
I used to love the ones that would show up at 10-11AM looking for work - OH, sign this so I can show I was here.
No, you be here tomorrow 6AM and you have a job.
Never was taken up on that very many times.
I used to have a rule of thumb “ANYONE” showing up at the plant at 530AM in work clothes, with lunch had a job.
