The average American male and female goes through about a dozen sexual partners over a lifetime (and that’s the average, with the latter generations easily topping 25 sexual partners before age 35). Fornication is not even looked at as the dangerous problem that it is, and for the fatal damage it has caused on the very idea of family, here. The statistics are about the same in a nearly homogenous manner across America.

There is no meaning to marriage when it’s de facto polygamy and prostitution on a such a massive societal scale, and all of this is considered as the new norm. People who choose to abstain from sex prior to marriage are viewed as freaks and outliers, and are socially ostracized. In such a social environment where people are used to more than one sexual partner, monogamy is difficult and meaningless. Marriages break down fast as a result, to a point that it isn’t worth the trouble it will eventually lead the participants to suffer. Marriage is reduced to a sham, in essence.

And then you wonder why STDs are rampant? LOL.
