Yes, indeed. It opened a helpful discussion between my daughter and my oldest grandson, however. GS is a college sophomore (living in a cold part of the country) and they had a productive discussion about not leaving friends until you know they are inside and safe and not walking on “frozen” creeks. You can’t have too many of those discussions with your kids, IMHO
I don’t leave the front of the house until I see kids safely inside the front door when I do drop-offs.
