JOLIET, Ill. (STMW) Police say four young adults, one the son of a Joliet police sergeant, lured two friends to a house, robbed and strangled them and then played video games until police arrived.
After attempting to dismember the bodies Thursday afternoon, the suspects continued the party atmosphere, Police Chief Mike Trafton said.
This is one of the most brutal, heinous and upsetting things Ive ever seen in my 27 years of law enforcement, Trafton said Friday. Not only the crime scene, but the disregard for common decency toward human beings.
Adam M. Landerman, 19; Alisa R. Massaro, 18; Bethany L. McKee, 18; and Joshua F. Miner, 24, were charged about 4 p.m. Friday with six counts of first-degree murder for the Thursday deaths of Eric Glover, 22, and Terrence O. Rankins, 22, at Massaros house, 1121 N. Hickory St. All four are being held in lieu of $10 million bail.

AlexW, have you been reading about what is happening in Chicago these days? Chicago is the deathtrap city of the country...there were more people killed in Chicago in 2012, I think the current # is 500 plus, than there were in Afghanistan during the same period.
This city/state and its socialist govt. is no longer your Aunt and Uncle’s 1960s-1970s. I won’t go to Chicago because I could get killed by any thug at any time, from flying bullets as one drug group shoots it out with another, from a holdup, battery as I walk out of a restaurant or club or whatever...on the south and west sides of Chicago, and now in the neighborhoods of Chicago that were once occupied by law-abiding, working, tax-paying citizens, these neighborhoods are now infiltrated by section 8, lay-around, generation welfare types who live off the handouts given to them by socialist oboma in exchange for their vote. They sleep all day, and then roam at night and fill the streets with any and all imaginable chaos...listen to the Chicago Police calls online, both during days and nights, and it is a madhouse/nightmare. Upscale streets containing upscale stores in neighborhoods once known as upscale now have flash mobs breaking into stores, grabbing up merchandise by the arm-fulls and running out of the stores and into waiting cars or running down the street to the nearby L train station. They will swipe your phones as they pass you by on the street, hold you up and kill you, ‘cause they have the gun, and the socialist mayor of Chicago, Rahm Emanuel, continues to lie about the death toll, and refuses to supply this city with more police...that is what socialism does to you. The Chicago Police do their best..but socialism won’t allow them to do their jobs because obozo and rahm won’t allow the courts to prosecute, and the corrupt leftist judges will not either jail them, or give them sufficient sentences to keep them off the streets.
Come to Chicago at your own risk. Those who live here know the score, and won’t venture into the Chicago if they don’t have to. And the people who work and depend on the tourist trade are suffering to be sure, but one’s personal safety is the most important thing. The sooner Chicago gets rid of the socialist/democratic political machine, the better it can be for Chicagoans, and those who want to visit and trade. It is a totally corrupt, greedy, unsafe city. Conceal carry would help greatly in this city for the law-abiding citizens, after all, the thugs always have guns on their person, and this will be our biggest fight with this socialist govt. in Chicago, but our numbers FOR concealed carry are strong. And we WILL win.
“Gone with the wind?” Maybe, but We the People are blowing back and looking forward to change in the “wind” direction...probably more later than sooner, but we will never stop fighting til they bury us six feet under.
Take God out of the home and school, take parents out of the equation and substitute government for individual responsibility and let Hollywood and communist unionized teachers educate the young.
What other outcome would you expect?
